On Monday 7th February 2011 the 41st FIS Alpine World Ski Championships will be opened in the Olympic Skistadium.

Opening Ceremony

With a big celebration the World Ski Championships 2011 will be opened on Monday (7th February). A remarkable program with a lot of show-highlights will make this major event a real "festival in the snow". The one hour program will reflect the unique relationship of the "big ski family" in an artistic and spectacular way.
Tourists and citizens can visit the event-park in the Olympic Skistadium already in the afternoon to find some athmospheric entertainment including delicious food and breverages. 

The Opening Ceremony will begin at 6 pm.
