France wins their first team title. The French team won in a very thrilling event the Gold medal in front of a very loud crowd. The Silver medal went to the Austrian team, Bronze medal to Sweden's team.

"Every racer dreams of a Gold medal. Today a dream is coming true to our team", so Cyprien Richard at the press conference. No one of the six starters of the French team had won a medal so far. Now they all are World Champions in the Nations Team Event.
"It is so brilliant to win against Austria" said Thomas Fanara. Austria won the Silver medal after they were defeated in a dramatic final by France.
"It was a crime thriller" so Silver medal winner Michaela Kirchgasser (AUT). "The Nations Team Event is a very interesting competition", so Philipp Schörghofer from Austria "maybe we should have more competitions like that at the World Cup.
The US-Team only reached quarter-final and lost to Italy. Giant Slalom star Ted Ligety meant, that no one take the event for serious, but was the only competitor who wasn't satisfied.
Bronze medal winners Anja Pärson and Maria Pietilae-Homner said: "It is hard to not take it serious, we always want to win a competition. The Bronze medal is a good result for our team."
