The ticket sale will start at the beginning of the winter season 2009/2010. Tickets will expect to be available by hotline, internet and common ticket agencies.
How many different nations will participate at the Alpine World Ski Championships?
Around 60 different nations will participate at the FIS Alpine World Ski Championships 2011.
When does the Alpine World Ski Championship take place?
The FIS Alpine World Ski Championships in Garmisch-Partenkirchen will take place from the 6th to the 20th of February. The opening ceremony is planned for the 6th, the first medal decision will be held on the 8th.
How can I become a part of the Alpine World Ski Championships?
To manage a perfect sports event a lot of volunteers for different tasks will be needed. The job advertisement will start in the end of 2009 through different media. From then, feel free to get in touch with the organisation committee.
How many competitions will take place during the Alpine World Ski Championships?
There are eleven competitions scheduled during the Alpine Championships: Downhill, Super-G, Super Combined, Giant Slalom and Slalom, each for men and women. In addition to the single races a team competition will take place. So there will be 33 medal decisions at the Alpine World Ski Championships.
