History
2011 will not be the first year of a major ski event in the “Werdenfelser Land”. In 1978 the first Alpine World Championships took place on the slopes of Garmisch-Partenkirchen.
What will be remembered is the success of our athletes, the pleasant, almost cozy atmosphere, the hospitality of the people in Garmisch-Partenkirchen and the perfect organization of the event.
